As we all know India the country where lots of festivals and now the upcoming festival DUSSEHRA will be celebrated on 30th September 2017.The “Ramayana” We celebrate Dussehra because, on this day, God Shri Ram killed Ravana(the king of Srilanka). Ravana was died because of having a lot of vanities. Ravana kidnaps the wife of God Shri. Ram named Sita.Ravana was killed for his mistakes. Ravana was the biggest mage.Ravana had the country Srilanka which is made up of Gold.


We celebrate Dussehra by burning statue of Ravana made up of bamboo, newspaper, paint and filled with firecrackers with hard work. This festival is celebrated with great pomp and show.On this day, the crowd gathered to see the burning statue of Ravana which means that the end of evilness and winning of goodness.Every year this festival is celebrated in all States of India.Dussehra has celebrated also with burning the statue of Indrajeet( Meghnath ) and Kumbhkaran(wake for 6 months & sleep for 6 months). Indrajeet was the son of Ravana and Kumbhkaran was the brother of Ravana.
On “Vijayaadashmi”, the end of “Ramlila” and “Durgapuja”, Dussehra is celebrated means the statue of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnath are burned.Bengalis start Durgapuja 10days before Dussehra.They pray the “Goddes Durga” for 9-10 days.On Vijayadashmi, the Goddes statue is submerged in rivers, ponds, etc.
People love the festivals in India.They enjoy these festivals with family.These festivals are loved by every people of India and foreigners as well.We know that festival are the happiest days we love.We are celebrating these festivals from our historical time.The festivals must be celebrated with good cleanliness. Dussehra is the festival of burning Ravana which had ten heads.Ravana is also known as “Dashmukh”. Ravana had God-given powers.We know that good won over evil.Dussehra is celebrated for killing the demon Ravana.
On Dussehra, there is gazetted holiday for government duties.People enjoy Dussehra by visiting Melas and Pradesh as well.On this day, Shami tree is prayed as a belief of winning as in Mahabharat battle Pandav brothers prayed for winning.
After 20days of Dussehra, people celebrate “Deepawali”, “Diwali”. On this Diwali festival, God SHRI.RAM returned to his home “Ayodyah” after 14 years of exile in forests.
